OKOKOK…DON’T PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THAT FIRST-CLASS FLATS NUMBER
As we’ve explained before, some weeks our sample for First-Class flats is too small to be statistically meaningful. That is today’s First-Class flats. Yucky? Yes. But it was essentially one large First-Class flats mailing that skewed the report. The pieces in that mailing were delivered, on average, two days late. Take that one mailing out of the mix, and FC flats look OK. In fact, all other categories were better than their YTD performance.
