FIRST-CLASS FLATS REMAIN WHERE THE ACTION IS, PERFORMANCE WISE
First-Class flats performance remains well above its YTD numbers but is showing a downward trend that bears watching. 84.2% was delivered on time, and those pieces that were late were mostly only late a day. The sample was relatively small, so we’ll let it slide, particularly since days-in-transit was better.
Other classes and sizes were better than 95% on time, USPS’ stated goal, so who are we to fuss?
