THE LABOR DAY LIFT
The Postal Service gets an extra day to deliver on Labor Day, as with other Postal holidays, so they get a little lift in performance. Same thing happened last year. Last September's performance held up pretty well through the month.
No standouts performance-wise. First-Class flats performance was awful by any objective performance, but typical of where it has been for years.
