US MAIL TRAFFIC REPORT MAY 26, 2025

ANOTHER SOLID WEEK FOR USPS

The Postal Service continued to beat YTD averages as we roll into the summer season.  During this time of year, mail volumes are low, and service typically is a little better.  First-Class letters were on time almost 90% of the time.  First-Class flats remained uneven.  Average delivery days were good in all categories except First-Class flats.

The South took over as the slowest Postal Area for the week, with delivery issues in Alabama.  Service in Indiana and Missouri remained subpar, but improved significantly compared to the past few weeks.
