USPS SERVICE STAYS THE COURSE
Service performance continued to plateau with consistent on-time percentages across the board. Weekly numbers pretty well matched the 2025 YTD numbers – a solid B- to C+ for First-Class Mail and, thank goodness, an A for Marketing Mail. Performance is remarkably similar to last year at this time, and we should be coasting for the rest of the summer, which certainly feels like it has arrived in Maryland.
The poorest performance in the country remains in Indiana, generally, and Indianapolis specifically, for both outbound and inbound mail. This has been going on for a few weeks now.
