Probably A Lot More Than You Thought.... Our IT team is smarter than the rest of us regular folks around here. After a recent planning session we had here at SnailWorks World HQ, our VP of Information Technology, Chip Birckhead, sent us this document about all of the things a SnailWorks landing page does. We were so wowed we thought we’d share it with the world.

What Exactly Does A SnailWorks Landing Page Do?

  1. Identifies the proper campaign and effort based solely on the domain & sub-domain
  2. Identifies the contact (person) based on the purl and matches that person to the proper campaign/effort. The match is performed against our SnailWorks contact database
  3. Pre-populates the form with personalized information from our SnailWorks contact database
  4. Records all landing page visitors, including contact information to our database & dashboard
  5. Records all campaign responses (submissions), including contact information, user preferences to our database & campaign dashboard
  6. Records clicked-on links with the content of the page
  7. Filters out duplicate hits by the same person
  8. Filters out test visits/submissions
  9. Can accept Credit Card information, integrated directly to payment processors
  10. Can capture detailed Order or Subscription information
  11. Enforces SSL security if the secure information is captured on the page
  12. Identifies if the visitor is human or robot (web bot) and filters appropriately
  13. Records the type of browser, IP address, etc.
  14. Records the Type of Response to our database and dashboard:
    1. Direct Mail
    2. QR Code
    3. Email
    4. Social
    5. Web
  15. Has the ability to display dynamic content based on client preference, customer demographic data, etc.
  16. Has the ability to show dynamic maps and routing for directions
  17. Sets up Social Media tags and links with embedded tags for properly formatted headlines, logos, etc. in the Social media presentation context
  18. Formats Social Media links such that they can be recorded back in the SnailWorks database & dashboard
  19. Displays a Thank You pop up
  20. Sends a uniquely formatted Thank You Email with dynamic content
  21. Sends a Sales Lead Confirmation
  22. Ability to Post tailored information to CRM solutions, such as Salesforce.com
  23. Ability to limit access by predefined access codes
  24. Ability to limit “one per customer” on free giveaways
  25. Ability to be customized to meet the needs of virtually any customer

Best of all, everything is managed through a common integrated platform. All of the above is included in a basic landing page. Repeating campaigns can be setup with minimal effort on your part! Imagine the cost, complexity and labor to attempt all the above with a collection of third-party tools hoping it could somehow magically come together in an integrated dashboard with all the reports SnailWorks offers!
