What Do You Want for Nothing?

The rising cost of "free"... Why pay for data you can get for free from the Postal Service? Fair question - we get it from prospective customers every now and again. If you are using Intelligent Mail barcodes on your mail, you can indeed get tracing and ACS data for "free" from USPS. Two things you may want to keep in mind: Thing #1: This: 55401,893,02/02/2015,04:18:31,0031120057207608153155422191825. This is what you get from the Postal Service IMb Tracing program, every time a piece of your mail goes through a barcode sorter. No pretty tables you can share online with your clients, with your boss. No projected delivery date. Just the rawest of data. Thing #2: The USPS. Seriously. Wouldn't you rather have us work with them? I thought so. SnailWorks organizes and presents your mail tracking and ACS into a convenient, sharable platform that delivers value. By all means use Intelligent Mail – just let us worry about the data. Let your IT team get your inventory system straightened out.
