SERVICE PERFORMANCE STEADY AS JUNE CONTINUES
The Postal Service showed very even service performance in all Postal Areas, as their weekly performance numbers exceeded the YTD average in every category we measure. We’ve come to expect a moderation of performance during the summer months, with lower seasonal mail volumes. It’s summertime and the living appears to be easy. They should do a song about that.
Even compared to last June, delivery seems very consistent. Michigan continued to show poorer perfomance, but the delays were much improved over last week.
