A GOOD WEEK FOR LETTERS, LESS SO FOR FLATS
Service performance for First-Class letters took a nice upturn last week, with more than 88% delivered on time, one of the best weeks we’ve seen since early June. First-Class flats continued to disappoint with about 45% delivered on time.
Marketing Mail letters remained strong, while flats slipped a bit to 93% on time. While 93% is not a bad on-time percentage, most of the late flats were more than five days late.
